Eh Kansas is a hot mess right now. UConn is slightly down. St. John's and MSU are teams that should concern Duke, but we can beat them.
I don’t mind our 8/9 to be honest, but our sweet 16 draw is tough. Think it will be St John’s
St. John's in the sweet 16 would be nerve wracking for various reasons.
We got the toughest draw. Down two players, this doesn't bode well.
I agree we got a tough draw. I think a lot of people are very surprised with how well Duke did without them. I’m sure there’s basketball fams out there going “if they did this without 2 starters, how good can they be if healthy?”
Duke has the toughest draw out of all the #1 seeds no doubt.

No clue. I know OSU has that dude Thornton that is pretty good but think of we put Sarr on him we should be good. Know nothing about TCU other than they only lost by 4 to Michigan. They also beat Iowa State Florida and Wisconsin

I'm hearing TCU is pretty good, but haven't seen them play. You are always going to get a decent top 30ish team in the second round though as a 1 seed.
A quick look they lost to Kansas by 5 in the Big tournament. March wins include Texas Tech, Cincinnati and Ok State. They did beat Wisconsin and Iowa State. Notre Dame beat them early on. They did beat Florida in November.

Just by looking at the scores, it seems like they play to their level of competition.
It’s the tournament fellas. Even the second round matches won’t be easy.
They could lose to Ohio State for all we know.
Think of it from St John's POV. They just won the Big East regular season and tournament and get Kansas and Duke in rounds 2 and 3.

Looks like I’ll be “working from home” in the afternoon Thursday lol.
The holes getting the regional benefit as a 6 seed is such ********. We were sent everywhere when seeded below a 3. Not the holes. Such ******* ********.
I called Michigan State in our bracket last week.
I don’t really care. There are so many unknowns. It’s tournament time. Win and advance. Next team up is the one to beat. With Pat back hopefully, I like our chances to get to final four.

Tough draw smh- to win it all you have to beat the best. If we can’t beat Ohio State or TCU on Saturday we don’t deserve sniffing a final four. Our 5 seed will likely beat our 4 as will our 3 our 2.

I'll be rooting for Duke (my friends give me crap) but will be happy for St. John's if they win. But the worst case is SJU beating us and then losing to U Conn. At least get to the final four. I'd rather them not play at all.
I was on the track team in 1990 when Duke played SJU in the sweet 16. Maybe round of 32? I talked to Boo Harvey (the Big East player of the year) in the training room as we were icing our knees. I said "rough game huh?" and he said "we should have won." He was limping around I don't know how he even played. Jason Williams, who played for the Nets, and Malik Sealy were on that team.
