I hope it happens to! It would be great! I think Naz might have a better chance of getting there. I think MCC would play Hillcrest in the 2nd round. Hillcrest's schedule looked pretty tough this year and their 7&2 record shows that they have to be good. I don't know much about them. I hope someone chimes in on them. I seen Sterling play Friday against DeKalb. Who ever gets to play them will have a tough apponent for sure. Good speed and very well balanced! Also plays a very good, bend but not break defense. In my opinion 5A is wide open with no clear cut favorites!
I'm just focused on Goode STEM right now.

@MR. "T" Does MCC practice on game field or is there a practice field somewhere. I don't remember seeing one on campus.

There's a field that they created just west or as you are looking at the home stands from the visitor side, right behind the home stands that they practice on!

5A still made sense to split this year, there's a solid ~15 teams are so south of I-80. 6A on the other hand...looked primed for a 1-32...

Until the first quarter came to a close. There were plenty of complaints then.

Still not my point that this is against any one school but rather a gerrymandering to help certain areas succeed. Go 1-32 and no questions can be asked.

I don't recall any JCA fan complaining last year. Direct your vitriol elsewhere.

DT,

Just know the kids that moved to PA and the Family are with you guys in spirit every Friday and watching on NFHS or The Cube. It's unfortunate for us that God had other plans.

You guys are funny. I look at it this way. In order to be a champion, you have to play and beat every team put in front of you. We all agree that the system is flawed but it is what it is. Teams have to play and if they are worried about whose in their bracket, they won't win anyway. Naz is my team and I have said all year that they will go as far as the underclassmen will take them. Not saying the seniors are great players because they are, but the TEAM will need all players to make a run. Imagine this- if we still had a kid whose in PA and an all state RB that transferred! WOW! Good luck to all the teams that made the playoffs! Enjoy and have fun!

I find it funny that everyone is so jacked about Naz as they have ONE quality win ALL year and now they will magically make a deep run in the play-offs. Also, it appears they must have already won their 1st round game as Max Preps have them playing Vernon Hills...good times. I understand they are the defending 2-time state champs, however saying they got an easy draw is comical to me. Finally, I do hope Naz & MCC make it to the quarterfinals as the Naz faithful will surely cry as the game would be at MCC. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

I'm a Fenwick father and I hate to tell you it is an easy draw.

Please point to the post that supports your "everyone is so jacked" statement. Where?

I don't understand why fans think it is important to focus on things one game at a time. It makes no difference who you are focused on. I am pretty sure you are not playing. Go ahead and look ahead.....what a fan does or thinks has ZERO effect on what happens on the playing field.

USD,

He has a good reason to only be focused on Goode at this point. He's well within his lane to say what he said.

@godfthr53 has commitment, and gives to the program he loves. If you want to mock him for giving his time when he has a family, job, and yet still donates it, well, WADR, go ____ __________.

Lighten up. Look at the path to the 5A title. Should make you smile a bit.

No respect is needed to someone that mocks the contributions of others from miles away. JWar do all of us that still support Nazareth and are respectful of others on this board a favor, Go find an east coast board and "support" your new team.

Yikes the Naz people are a little irritable today, jwar and I don't get along but I'm sure he was kidding around. Maybe there is more to the saga. Days of our lives: Nazareth edition
