You might want to rethink that one. Was at both games. I predicted three wins. That might be on the high end.

From the two games I have seen, I will say my hopes for this season are lower than initially expected and my hopes for the next two years are higher than I was thinking. Not only are there like 7 or more sophs playing significant varsity time, but the quantity of seniors out there is just so low. Still see anywhere from 3-5 wins this year, with 4 being my guess.

That said, watch out next year when these sophs have all that experience and come back as juniors. And then a few of your junior standouts like Raber and K. Johnson are seniors. If those 2017 and 2018 Hilltopper teams are in 5A and Naz is bumped up because of their inevitable walk through 5A in 2016, then they will have the potential to make some deep playoff runs in 17 and 18.

That said, I still hope the schedule next year is very light weeks 1 and 2. Work on some things and get 1-2 wins. Also, way too early prediction.......If Morris and Naz both end up 5A this season, that game will decide the state title (I realize it will likely come in the quarterfinals or semifinals because, well, IHSA gonna IHSA.....) However, I do realize that if Naz winds up 5A, then Morris is more likely to bump down to 4A. And if Naz winds up 6A, Morris is more likely to wind up 5A.
