Enough want to know if they can win schedule tough non conference other wise it's pointless. It's easy to be Boise state not the other way around. Naz is good everyone knows it stop with the 8a stuff it's not one games it's making it through the hole playoffs.

While the regular season is important, it's how you play in the playoffs. Look at Waubonsie Valley. They got crushed by Naperville North. But WV caught fire and was a completely different team at the end of the year. And yes, I know Nazareth is not the same as NN.

It's very interesting, especially if somehow Marist pulls the upset and Naz wins. Idk what that means. I really don't. I was at the Naz Marist game. Naz was the much better team, game was never in doubt. So it be silly to say that they couldn't do the same as Marist in 8A. But look at Naz's road to the championship compared to WV road. I know what 8A defenders mean that the 8A playoffs are a different animal with everyone being a solid team, I'm not joking when I say %75 of teams in 5A are a joke. This year besides JCA, Naz, LWW, and maybe MCC, there is a enormous drop off.

I was at this game as well. Marist didn't play any defense at all. Naz could have scored 100. Minus the Barrington game their defense has done fairly well in the playoffs. Naz could compete in 8A this year and last year. Win it? Meh, depends on matchups.

My comment has nothing to do with JCA. IMO, it's a moot point. I've posted this before. I don't see JCA making the playoffs next year.

Unlike most of the JCA posters you seem to want to take a shot at opponents all the time(not just Naz)...maybe I'm misinterpreting, if so apologies.

Marist is in the 8A final,Nazareth won 6A last year easily and would win again this week.

Well in the hypothetical world of Naz in 8a they would of been the 16 seed which means they would of been at Loyola second round assuming they beat Stevenson.

I'm sure @RRH1 feels like Naz would have handled LA. Most likely with sophs in by start of 3rd.

Sure thing big guy. The nice thing is, it will never happen, so you can prognosticate all you want. Ask Racki to petition up to 8A if they are that good.

yet another poster that doesn't get it. In a 1 or 2 game scenario I'd take Naz, MCHS, JCA against most 8a teams. In a 4 week grind it would be tough be the end.

Just thinking about a small school like ours jumping up in class is hard to swallow.not that we couldn't compete but the depth is just not there most, 5a-6a teams are an injury away from not being able to play at a high level and stay competitive IMO.

Thank you for using the term "moot." Dopes substitute the word "mute." This site is becoming more refined ! Naz would win a few in 8a ....not all.
