Disappointed in the Celtics draft. Grant Williams...wtf? Then they trade Jerome.

My guess is Nassir might already think Duke blue is the best blue. He hasn’t had many flattering things to say about his former school the last few months. Even tonight, it seemed like he took a shot at UNC while being interviewed.

Maybe it’s just me but the woman that they have interviewing the players has worded questions to players that seemed like she was basically saying “how did you go from being a bad player to bring drafted in the NBA Draft?” but like I said maybe it’s just me.

They didn't even get the better of the two martins. Oh my God. Why. Why.

Mitch cupchuck 0-4. I am speechless. I don't know what to say. Jordan is literally the worst owner of all time. Genuinely sad right now.

Did anyone expect Bol Bol to drop this far? Even with the injury I didn’t expect him to drop this far considering several other players that also suffered injuries got drafted in the first round and even in the lottery.

Apparent his medical evaluations weren't good. If that's the case that really sucks for him.

I really think Grant is going to be a good role player for a while in the league. And with their inability to move up, they weren’t getting a star this draft anyway.

I’m with you though, you gotta try to keep Jerome.

Unless I'm missing something Bol Bol might be the steal of the draft. If he was taken in the second round there must be some chance of him recovering.

Hornets pick at 36 (Cody Miller), is easily the worst pick of the draft for any team.. the worst I’ve ever seen..

His twin brother is a better player and didn’t even get drafted.. I can’t even comprehend this.. even by Hornets draft standards.

I'd take him over Jordan Poole, personally. And FWIW, Cody is much more versatile player than Caleb. He's not a high-volume shooter like Caleb, but he generally takes good shots (57% from 2 and 36% from 3). He can get after it on the defensive end, and he can facilitate on the offense. Not a bad pick, IMO.

But why pick him at 36? He would have definitely been available at 52..

Cody was 3rd team all Mountain West at the end of his 5th year of NCAA basketball.. he will be 24 before the season starts.. and they drafted him at 36..

I’m not hating on the kid, but that’s a horrible pick at 36..

I’m a Lakers fan and like the direction we are going and I will enjoy watching the former Dukies at New Orleans. But, I’m really excited for the Atlanta Hawks. I think they won the Draft last night and should contend for a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.

I might have slightly disagreed with you after the first round, because the Grizzlies adding Ja and coupling Brandon Clarke with Jaren Jackson may prove to be brilliant. Then, they got Bruno Fernando in the second off that trade and that officially won them the draft. What a huge value piece to get in the second round. Best second round value behind Bol Bol.

In terms of their playoff potential, you may be right. We’ll see how the Eas(y)t looks after free agency, but now that the Hawks may be out of tank mode, this could really do something huge for them. With Huerter being as effective as he is, Cam has a year to get things under his belt. I think that bodes well for him.

I thought the Cavs got lucky having Garland fall to them at 5, I was reading that a lot of teams (including the Celtics) were trying to trade up to the 4 spot to take him. Then they kind of ruined what I thought was gonna be a great draft by taking the Belmont kid when he was still gonna be there in the 2nd round. They made up for it though by signing Bolden.

I'm super excited for the future of the...
Pelicans
Hawks
Grizzlies
Kings

I hate when terrible teams draft based off need, what the Cavs need is elite players. Sexton was a misfire, he's never gonna be a point guard. He's more of a combo guard anyway, starter on a bad team, off the bench scorer on a good team. No sense in continuing to kick the can down the road, I like what they did.

The Suns and Hornets should have to play in the D League this season. Especially if the Hornets fail to keep Kemba.

Sexton is Louis Williams at best, so if you can get a guy that some say is similar to Trae Young or Steph Curry, you gotta do it.

I’m just not sold that Garland is really that guy.
