Ayton Bagley Doncic is my top 3 prediction

The real question is who do the Knicks take at 9?

Haven’t paid much attention last two weeks. Does sanders camp have hope he gets drafted?

Have been very impressed with how well spoken and intelligent these kids drafted to date are. Seem all to be terrific character guys. And most of these kids to date are about 20 years old. Great crop of kids drafted so far.

I'm confused, if hearing right, why Atlanta would trade it's 3 for Dallas' 5 straight up without receiving any other compensation than the draft choice 2 picks past the 3 they gave up.
edit after checking seen Atl would be getting a future #1

You are misusing the word kid.

Mikal Bridges did a half-hour press conference on how "staying home" to play for the Sixers fulfilled a dream, was told at the end he'd been traded to Phoenix. Sixers could have handle this quite a bit better. Bridges' mom works in their HR department for those who don't know.

Bummer for him but he learned right away that the NBA is a business

What would it take to snag some of those tall and long Lithuana, Lativa, etc players to go to Rutgers? Some good looking players. I guess they would have to see College Ball in the US as a better path to the NBA.

Wow...the Holiday family now has 3 NBA players at the same time....Jrue, Justin and Aaron.

Reminds me of the four NBA Jones brothers from Albany State (Caldwell, Will, Charles and Major). Caldwell, Charles and Major were all in the league at the same time. Four brothers from the same small college all play in the NBA. Pretty remarkable.

And on the subject of families, with the final pick of the draft, the Sixers select the Greek Freak's brother.

Felt bad for him, but you can do worse than living in the Phoenix area and being paired up with the overall number one.

I like the Knicks picks a lot.

It has been a tough couple of years backing the franchise though. Very little direction and stability. I am hoping for a change with Fitzdale, but not certain.

They were getting ripped today for not taking Michael Porter. I would not have touched Porter either given his back surgery. Also, 13 teams passed so Knicks weren't alone in being cautious with him; 3 after the Knicks' pick.

Kevin Knox had been talked about for several days--and at one point, he made a verbal slip and said "we", referring to the Knicks. Very much an open secret, though there had been some who had them taking Trae Young. Robinson was out of left field. So they took two big men--O'Quinn is gone; Noah is being paid off. Kanter said he wants to stay, and hope he does. Robinson and Knox are young and will have lots of time to develop. Maybe at some point we will see one of them nail down the 5 spot and play alongside Porzingis.

It won't be Knox. He's not a five, not even a four

Interesting story about the Hawks pulling out of a trade at the last second because the prior two picks were leaked on Twitter before being officially announced. Once they see that the player they wanted to draft was still going to be available, they pulled out of the trade saving themselves next year's first round pick, which works have gone in the trade. Way to go Woj!

College basketball in the US is not a legitimate path to the NBA for good to excellent European players. They develop more as players in Europe or the NBA than they ever would in most major college programs.

Without knowing what the medical people say about porters health I really like Knox. Only 18 lots of room to grow. Robinson was a great pick in the second. First round talent. Top 10 player coming out of HS. Perfect high upside pick in the second round

I'm a Knicks fan, but whoever said they were smart.[roll]
Michael Porter, Jr. isn't even going to play this year. Denver said they are going to sit him for the season to be safe.

An enormous part of rebuilding an NBA team is patience .

Phil Jackson set NY back 4-5 years with silly contracts .

Knox might have bigger upside but personally I am a big Bridges fan and IMO they'll regret passing on him.

How will the Knicks regret passing on Bridges, if Knox has more upside? Anyway, the Knicks could have had the 1st, 2nd and 3rd pick of the draft and they still be will years away thanks to Phil "Chief Triangle" Jackson. Let Phil ride his Harley and pretend to be 1/8 Sioux.

Mikal? He's a 3 and D role player. Knicks needed someone with more upside

He can defend 4 positions----Knox can't----Knox has more potential offensively but that's after he gains 25 lbs and IMO you never know how that will effect his ability to run the floor or if in fact he can even gain it.

Just my opinion.
