Mikal? He's a 3 and D role player. Knicks needed someone with more upside
He can defend 4 positions----Knox can't----Knox has more potential offensively but that's after he gains 25 lbs and IMO you never know how that will effect his ability to run the floor or if in fact he can even gain it.

Just my opinion.
I just see it as the Knicks need a second star to go with KP. If they already had those pieces then Bridges would be a great compliment. An 18 year old with more skill and higher ceiling is what the Knicks needed to be going for in their situation

I think Knox has more offensive versaility than Bridges.. Many say he does not seem excited to play all the time, but I just see it as him being a little bit more consistent mentally. He doesn't get too high, and he doesn't get too low. Not a bad trait to have.

I hope Fitzdale can make up for Dolan's inefficiencies.

The knicks have youth and energy, but youth does not win in the NBA.

If you are a Rutgers basketball fan, you would probably make a good transition to being a Knicks fan. Both are going to require you to be patient and hang in there even though you have been doing just that for 20+ years.

Being from Brooklyn, I am hoping the franchise can start to make a change. As much as Dolan stays out of things, he still finds a way to get in the way of the franchise having huge success somehow. I believe Fitzdale will be a better coach than Hornacek. That will benefit them.

I also like Knox more than Bridges...younger and more upside.

I would have been fine with Knox or either Bridges. Bottom line is that we need everything right now. I would have loved to take two of them, but life doesn't work that way. The poster clamoring for Bridges is a private school homer and he/she is off base on KP. You can't call him a bonafide star right now because of his youth and now the injury, but he is a good building block as is Knox.
