The Wolfpack edge out Wake 75-72 behind a 6-of-13 effort behind three-point-line from Rowan. He finished with 24. Cat Barber also scored 22.

State always plays us tough and we've seen through the years how they've made some impressive conference tourney runs. Anytime you have a playmaker like Cat it's possible he can get hot and you ride him for games.

Postseason starts in 24 hours. Let's have some fun!

Dang I wanted Wake, thought it would be an easier game.
Hopefully NC State forgets the BEATDOWN we put on them in the quarter's last year.

Yes. That was the one of the disadvantages about having the the winner of NC State vs Wake is the fact that no matter who was the winner, Duke was going to have to beat them a third time in a row, and it's never easy beating a team for a third time, but if anybody can do it, it's Duke and the heart of this team.

Glad we got NCSU. Understand Cat could put up 40 but Thomas seems to live to have great games vs. Duke. Sooner or later he would have gotten some help from team mates and down we would go. OFC

Personally would rather have the Pack...I think Wake would get us this time away from Cameron, the memory of last week's struggle still so fresh in their minds....

Man beating a team 3 times is tough. I would have preferred wake as I did not see our second game.

Official tip is 30 minutes after the first game...hopefully Cuse-Pitt don't get into a long run to start it off.

I know you guys are probably tired of talking about it but could this be a game were Coach K changes the lineup and allows Jeter/Obi to start and play meaningful minutes. Duke can have enough scoring with Ingram Thornton and Allen with Jones and Kennard coming off the bench. Ingram would not have to worry about picking up fouls or guarding a bigger person. I would like to see this lineup till the under 16 minute TO and if it ain't working bring in another guard. What do you guys think???

States bigs are not impressive so I feel this would be a perfect opportunity to see if we can utilize playing 2 bigs. Just a thought.

Sure, go against everything done all year going into a tourney......makes sense lol

Already game delays. Scoreboard and clock problems. Game has been stopped at least 4 times during 1st minute. Next the lights will go out. It just went out gain. Seems to be a shortage in power going to one of the units. Commentators say it will be fixed in no time. Got a bad feeling here. where's McGiver when you need him. It's down again. It's a shot clock problem and now they are using the old type floor shot clocks. No shot clock on top of backboards. How long will this take. OFC.

Must be the clock operator we have at CIS. I think it's good to make it look like there's problems now already so in the next game when Duke is always getting the benefit of the doubt people don't catch on.

So - I'm leaving work to go home and watch game so is it looking more like a 2:30 start with all these delays??

At the earliest it was always going to be 2:30 because Cuse-Pitt wasn't going to end until 2. Right now it's looking like the game will start on time or a few minutes late....but things can change.

Thanks - I'm only 10 minutes from home so I'll just make sure I'm there by 2:30.
