If I had to predict an upset, I’d say Kent State, then Providence.
Yeah, I could see that. In my bracket, I have USC over Sparty. Not that I watch much college hoops, but from what I have gathered, Sparty has been very inconsistent this year.

Pitt 36-26 Iowa State at 12:00 of 2nd half. The teams are 3/25 shooting in the second half. Pitt was up 22-2, ISU got within 5. The Iowa band looks like something out of a futuristic movie, Back to the Future 2-ish.

Not to take anything away from Pitt, but has anyone seen a more pathetic performance in an NCAA tournament than Iowa State's today? And this team was deemed worthy of a six seed? Losing something like six of their last seven should have been a clue.

Purdue goes down. Embarrassing for the Big Ten. The Big Ten continues to fail on the big stage in football and basketball.

(16) FDU 64-58 (1) Purdue, final.

First time I've watched Purdue this year. Was that their normal game, or were they "off"?

Can't seem to hit 3 pointers, have some really tall guys, Edey for one ... but FDU seemed to be able to control them.

The FDU coach had them well-prepared. Every time Edey put the ball on the floor they were swarming. Purdue had 16 turnovers, FDU 8.

Good luck trying to figure out this year's champion. Not like football where only a handful of teams have a shot every year.

That was awesome! I just want to see more of that coach. And then he spoke, at length.

The look on some of those Purdue fans' faces was precious.

FDU!!!!!

The David and Goliath metaphor. My god. It’s literal. FDU is the smallest team in D1.

Lots of empty seats in Greensboro. Yeah, what a great basketball state...embarrassing.

I've wondered if empty seats at some venues is due to how the NCAA placed teams this year. For example this year 3 schools from NC are in the NCAA, none in Greensboro. Likewise there are 3 schools from Iowa in the NCAA but none in Des Moines.

So if the schools have strong followings in their home states, most likely they'll be streaming to the area where their teams are playing ... not to the arena in their home state that is hosting a regional.
