Ok, so eight of us have been doing NCAA fantasy basketball for the tournament the past 12 years. We pick 12 guys and it's only scoring. Most points at the end of the tournament wins. We all throw in $50....first place gets $300 and second takes home $100. It's fun.

But I have a question for the board since a lot of you, like me, obviously follow college basketball closely. I have pick #3 in this year's draft, and I'm assuming Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky and Big Jah will go 1-2 in no particular order. I feel it's too early to go with a UK guy because they're hard to distinguish....and I'm assuming there will be one or two UK players available at #14 and #17 for my second and third picks.

So what should I do?

^ Yeah, but I not only want guys who score, but I have to hope I'm getting someone who will be playing multiple games. Remember, if I have two guys from say Maryland and they get upset in round one then I'm down two guys off the bat. It's cumulative points throughout.

Yeah, Grant, and Wiltjer are obvious ones. I have a few others to toss out there though. Niang, Stanley Johnson, and our own Quinn Cook. Quinn is probably going to score anywhere from 14 to 20 points a game, and hopefully for a good many games. But you probably can get him much lower in the draft.

Actually, I'm leaning Quinn right now at #3. He won't be there when my turn comes around again.

Bryce johnson. I would never have a unc guy on my team..I never take an eagle in football or giant in baseball but Bryce does well and will play a few games. Njiang iowa st. Tyus. Brogdan or perrantes.

I think it depends on how far you think a given team is going. Also, would having multiple UK players be beneficial? After all, they are at least going to the final four right? So that is 5 games you are guaranteed points. Outside of the two players you mentioned, and the guys from UK, it is really a crap shot. I think Justice could easily outscore Quinn. I like Hield from Oklahoma because I think they make a deep run in that bracket.

Exactly. That's why a Cauley-Stein, who scores 10 per game, will be more valuable than the guy who scores 18 a night but plays for an 8-seed.

I'd say add Delon Wright to your list of possibles and with your last pick, it may not hurt to drop it on Tyler Harvey from Eastern Washington. He'll play for a game probably, but I'm thinking they can beat Georgetown and give Utah a run and if they do it'll be because of Harvey. Don't forget Ron Baker at Wichita State.

Here's my roster....Wright went in round four to someone else. Our last pick - 13th round - must come from a 14-seed or higher.

Georges Niang - ISU

Trey Lyles - UK

Brice Johnson - UNC

Anthony Gill - UVA

TJ McConnell - Zona

LaDontae Henton - Prov

Trevor Lacey - NCSU

Justin Moss - Buff

Aaron White - Iowa

Yogi Ferrell - IU

Craig Bradshaw - Bel
