Good Lord. Sometimes it comes a time when guys need to grow up and move on.
What the hell … as long as an individual is enrolled and taking 12 credit hours, let them play. Might as well … !!

if its what it sounds like, then we could have Kriisa for a 2nd year. he was suspended for 9 games this past season for taking impermissible benefits. but we'll have to wait and see

The NCAA Admin is just trying to keep their jobs at this point. They are really worthless. When they capitulated to North Carolina after the bogus class case because UNC fought back, sealed the their casket. They have been a steaming pile of poop sense.
Why do I get the feeling the fine print will say "any ineligibility of 10 games or more"..
The NCAA is now toothless. I really do think this organization will be done within like a decade or so. They serve no purpose.

Thought they already did this for all eligible students athletes. Does that mean Duke got some punchable face boy back or are we in the clear.
I could see them eventually allowing a permanent 5th year for all players, regardless of circumstances.
Ok that article clearly states ineligible due to transfer rule. so Kriisa wont get another year. just people from the time when players sat out a year for transferring.
Ridiculous, maybe I can apply because even though I suck and never played college ball, I too never got a chance during the 2003-2007 seasons to play or earn money.
That makes a little more sense but come on, 2019 guys should be done barring medical redshirt or something.

The asylum broke the law for decades and is now paying for it. Referring to the one’s who broke anti trust laws as the asylum and the victims of their crimes as the inmates is hilarious.

No worries here. I’m 43, and have started buying shoes that slip on to prevent bending over and tying them.

Why have any eligibility limitations at all? That's literally the only restriction still left that I can think of. Might as well chuck it too.
