Jerry Stackhouse is a high possibility, have also heard Matt Painter on short list but they prefer to keep it in the UNC Family.

Saw their short list from last year and then also of interest and one Ben McCollum was on that along with Grant McCausland
Does Stack have coaching experience? Keeping it in the family is cool but it would be tough handing the reigns to someone with no D1 HC experience.
he had a stint at Vandy. Not a lot of success but also has NBA experience. I think they should look outside the UNC Family, but what do I know?
I don't miss that style of basketball at all.
