FYI Parco dates Korina and they were at ASU. In January last year the Blades sisters knew they were heading to Iowa City because Sunkist was shutting down. And a club coach they all know made 1st contact. And Parco and Teemer are boys so that's how that one happened.

Since you know about Dean and his 1st contact let me hear it

Okay, but this stays here.

It was at the NCAAs after his loss to Olejnik and Brands stopped to give a word of encouragement and lightly mentioned that Wiscy may not be developing the best version of himself. Then Caldwell walked by and told him good match, to keep his head up.

DJ said you know what, Brands is right, I am going to OSU.

That's ok in Stillwater. But if done in Iowa City it's so bad. And FYI Iowa has never had anyone leave NCAA and go straight to Iowa City. That's the 1st and only time that's even happened. Don't let the hate cloud your judgement

I watched most of it. They didn't really give anything away as far as Ghadiali goes. They did make a point to say that most of the transfers already know where they're going and deals are set up. I think the portal "officially " opens after NCAA's so I would expect to see any additions or subtractions around that time.

Is PSU the destination he has in mind when he entered portal? Flo guys talked about he already knows his destination.

I don’t understand the timing of portal openings…..Seems they would wait till after NCAA…..Somebody, please educate me!

My impression is that we don't really have to worry about budget. If the guy is right for the culture the money is there. Even if that isn't the case IRL, shouldn't it be the case on this forum? lol

Hughes is interesting, he says all the right things, has shown up in more matches than not... with a few exceptions I was pretty impressed with his scrapping this year. I would be surprised to see him leave. There's definitely something going on behind the scenes though whether it's weight management or coaches lighting a fire or something else. Like many others here I could see Jamison at 149 and Hughes at 141 next year.
