Could KD AA next year? Absolutely. But when you wrestle his style I would never say it is likely. It is hard to win the matches needed when every match goes to SV.

Sentes was way too mouthy and way too involved. He drove a lot of this and was using Taye’s demand as leverage for more than just Taye’s interests.
We may be in the market for a select few top HWTs but there are only 3 or 4 of them out there. Taye is one of those guys but outside of landing Bastida, Feldman or Trumble I don’t think it’s an auto take

I think you need to be careful about overspending or we won't have the money very long. I think getting Hamiti and Hendrickson probably well spent money. Getting Amine and Fish good if we did not spend much money not good if we spent much money. If I gave money for NIL I would not keep giving if my money was not spent wisely too often.

There’s a caveat here with injuries and money spent. It’s partly why you’re seeing so many injuries/extreme caution with health.
Careful is a conservative word in most of these scenarios.
Hunter Catka is in the portal. He might be a good option at heavyweight. Finished in the bloodround last year I believe.
I think he redshirted already. He’s just a junior who has one more year of eligibility.
Jimmy Mullen, who is a freshman is the starting heaviweight for VT and is seeded 11th in the championship bracket. So if Catka didn't redshirt this year the freshman apparently beat him out. Doesn't sound like an improvement on Doucet. We need studs from the portal.
I mean Catka finished in the bloodround two last year. Mullen is just really good. I would def prefer over Doucet
Why would a heavyweight underclassman come to Oklahoma State with Ross in the wings after a redshirt? He could be a 4 time AA with a couple of championships.

When Kerk started he was similar to Ross. You can definitely tell Kerk spent a lot of time in the weight room. I would expect OK State to do the same with Ross.
I would believe that a heavyweight transfer would have 2 years to compete for the Cowboys. Next year, while Ross is a HS senior & the following year while Ross redshirts (& grows).

Swiderski is very good and an upgrade at 149/157 over Young/Travis but taking him on less than a year after giving JW the boot is a really weird look IMO
