I was advised that the ticket office will be releasing the results of ticket requests in the next two weeks….hopefully next week. Leaks from NLC staff indicate that the cut-off to receive tickets may be quite high…..remember Pittsburgh? That was not fan friendly. Reportedly PSU did not receive ample tickets in the lower level to support the wrestlers and staff families. That explains why only upper level was offered to fans.

When Iowa was dominating Iowa would win the championship and then receive a huge allotment of tickets the next year. Penn State winning all the time has driven the price of national tickets through the roof, benefiting the NCAA and the NCAA says thanks by changing dramatically the manner they allot tickets.

See the chart in post #10 in the “pinned” ticket thread.

I am assuming the criteria has not changed from the time of Nationals at Pittsburgh. At that time, I had in excess of 2,200 points and did not receive tickets. The ability for a high point individual to request eight tickets creates an inequity for everyone.

I can say for certain that ~2550 was good enough for tickets last year in Philly.

I am planning to buy session by session close to session starts this year. May even skip a session or 2. My buddy did this last year in Philly and spent less than $850 and was in lower level some sessions.
I think you can do better than $850 if you wait, but everyone's tolerance for waiting is different.
