Len Elmore once again can't contain his bias against Duke.
At worse, it was a bang-bang call (which should be auto defensive foul). But he was sliding over when Thorton took to air.
That was a pretty vicious foul on Grayson...oh wait, no one touched him. LMFAO! Zebras to the rescue.
UNC fans love Duke more than they love UNC.
You guys are just hilarious to check in on every once and a while. Almost as funny as Lee Melchionni's hugs and Jon Scheyer's weird facial expressions.

Some good things in that second half. If we carry it into round 2 then we got a shot. Gotta clean up silly mistakes and we need a better Luke but with that Marshall we got a shot
Good things happen when you Battle! Shouldn't have to worry about being favored in any other games, and rightly so, but I like it. All the haters out there, Duke can't beat anyone else in the Tourney, they just don't have it this year.
Granted, that was tough, but there will be a lot of close calls yet to come, for everyone.

Not pleased with our struggle in the first round today but happy we won and especially our second half offense. Wasn't Marshall something in that second half. Know why he's our captain. He's our leader. Maybe one of our best senior leaders ever. We better get better defensively next game no matter who we play or we will go home. Can't understand why they had so many open 3's. Enough complaining though. We are advancing. OFC

When you reach and do not move on defense... At least when I was watching, twice Len Elmore went off on officials. Both times, officials were 100% correct. The guy slid over late on Thornton's drive, and the one in the first half, yes it was 30 feet from basket. Yes, shot clock was winding down. But it was two hands on offensive player.
What is going on with this team? It's like DeMarcus Nelson is back teaching our guys how to dribble themselves into the ground...

Survive and advance. There are some good things to take away from today. We have the ability to beat anyone in the country on any given day. Maybe not every time, but enough times that I STILL contend there is nobody in the country who wants to see US next.
Do you remember Hansmule? He had a couple of expressions, including the beaker look whenever he would travel. It was pretty hilarious.
