The ending of that Florida/Iowa game was another dandy. Iowa hits a three pointer with 4.5 seconds left to go up 1 then Florida gets the ball down court under the net and can’t get a shot off, fumbling the ball trying a pass.

Is it too much to hope a light standard crashes to the floor during the UCLA/UCONN game severely maiming Cronin and Hurley and rendering them unable to speak?

The best part was the shooter’s mother, sitting in the front row watching her son play for only the 3rd time.

Not surprised. Those schools could care less about NIT games. Heck…Cal could care less about sports in general. Only reason OSU had decent attendance was the Wichita State fans
That’s true we will have over 3000 because the Wichita State fans

They got all their teams into the sweet sixteen. No Butler's, or Wichita State's , Tulsa's, or ORU's.

I was hoping they would hit their bald heads together at midcourt as they were both running out of their coaches boxes to yell at their players! Unfortunately, neither of those things happened!

Yaxel Lendeborg….famously started at UAB. My question is for those of you who have a better memory for this than me, did we recruit him before he signed at UAB? It just seems like I remember his name in a recruiting report. But then again, my brain may be turning into tapioca pudding so there’s that.

I’m not a fan of Duke but I absolutely detest Hurley and UCONN. That ending made me sick. All Duke had to do was hold the ball, they didn’t even need to cross the time line, and make a free throw or two to salt it away. That turnover was just stupid.

Coach K would have used that last time out after the free throw.

You missed one of the best finishes in tourney history. Duke must feel sick. They gave away that game
It is ok. I finished our taxes. Better use of my time if Tulsa is not affected by the outcome.

BTW I pay no attention to the Thunder either. Not even based in Tulsa! I will say my late dad enjoyed following them on TV so those who enjoy these things should partake. Certainly.

We’re the opposite and now attend more Thunder games than Tulsa games. The speed and skill of the NBA stars make the college game just seem plodding and slow. The 1 and done rule probably has a lot to do with it.

That being said, the end of the UConn game today was very exciting and probably the best of the tourney so far.

I would never watch sports on TV if I only watched those game where TU was affected. Might not be the worst idea come to think of it.

That's right. I hardly do anymore. Until I took up following FC Tulsa, April to August was my time off sports, and my family was really grateful for that.

My FC Tulsa tickets are a new thing this season. But now my kids all drive and I am not needed so much for taking them around. New dynamic. Should be OK. Plus it is a World Cup year which is my one other "sports thing."

But back to the NCAA tourney. My only message is "anyone but UConn." That might motivate me to watch a little bit next weekend.

None of them believe me yet, but I tell younger parents all the time that one of the biggest things to look forward to in a when your kids are old enough to drive themselves to their activities. The time savings is substantial if you only have to show up at tipoff time and not an hour or more early for example.

Multiply that times games per week times three kids on our case and you’ve freed up some time.

It’s a shame with all that skill we still get 6 step step-back threes

My wife and I have been to the Oilers football games for a few years. Tons of fun during the off season!
