I thought Gottlieb was great. He was very complimentary of Hurley and also recognized some really poor officiating (the foul call with 2+ minutes to go on Buffalo on what was a 'no call' all game really hurt).

UVA got their taste of Belmont, like Duke did in '08.

Belmont always seems to be a better team than their seeding. Not sure the NCAA gives them enough respect.

Louisville-UCI looks to be quite a battle as well.

My reference to Gottlieb was a general one he usually sucks but I do agree he was pretty good today.. Jus historically I don't like him. And Belmont is pretty good year in and year out. Watched them play when I went to ETSU a few years ago they were fun to watch letting it fly from all over the court

I usually don't like playing teams twice in a year because of the revenge factor, but the way Duke took tht St. John's game, they have to be demoralized. That said, I think SDSU's style plays to Duke's favor.

I'm not sure who I would rather play SJU or SDSU. We've played St. Johns of course and know them better. SDSU is looking good. Either one will give us a good game and we need to be good to go on Sunday. Good to see our coaches at the game scouting. OFC
