Just bought tickets to this in Minneapolis on the Saturday the F4 starts. It’s 3 hours has free food and drinks. Also has guest celebrities, which was one of the main reasons we pulled the trigger. Previous celebs were people like Barkley, Shaq, Jabbar and other interesting talking heads. Found out AFTER I bought the tickets that 2 of the celebs (I was told there’d be more) are Kevin McHale and Gary Williams. I don’t know much about McHale other than old NBA documentaries and 30 for 30. But, Gary Williams...what would you ask him if given the opportunity (other than “I thought celebrities would be here, so why were you invited?” or “How many times did you want to slap that punk Vasquez or your terrible fans?”)?

If you don’t care me asking how much does this run? I’d love to go when it’s in Atlanta again. Also ask Gary how much sweat is too much to get out of a suit for me!

They tell you $350/ticket, but much like Ticketmaster they hit you with a bunch of fees and it ends up being $419/ticket. If the other celebs suck, then I have three hours to drink and eat $419 worth of booze and food. Challenge accepted.

The seating in US Bank is going to be awful. The only way I’m going is if Duke is playing....otherwise I’ll be staying away from Minneapolis.

Come out to the ‘burbs FTB, give me $419 and I’ll get you good Minnesota drunk.

If it’s UNC vs KY on Monday, and I get bailed out in time, I may take you up on that offer.

On a side note. I’m planning on going to the FF. Does anyone know if Duke will be selling tickets via the Iron Duke/ticketing office?

Given the beer is like $10 for 12 oz. If you drink two each half and one at half time. That’s 3 games for $150. Not to mention eating good food plus games. Not a bad price.
The tickets were separate from the VIP thing. It’s in a building next to US Bank stadium before the games start on Saturday.

I did the same thing a few years ago in Arizona. I was lucky enough to meet Hurley, Laettner and Kurt Warner. I had a great time even if Duke went home early that tournament. Met lots of Duke fans that I still keep in contact with to this day.
