NCHSAA releases final realignment

Doesn't look like any changes were made. Carver and Prep got the shaft in football. Almost 90 miles to MIC for them.

Guess the NCHSAA is making an effort to send a message to charters and open enrollment schools.

There were none. Just a formality after hearing appeals.

(Conference 36) Each school gets 4 non-conference games. Hopefully Mt.Airy, N.Surry, E.Surry, And Surry Central will still play Non-Conference games.

These schools have all been in the same conference several times since the 1970s also including Forbush as 3A, 2A & 1A . Not sure about East Wilkes and Alleghany but all the rest of the new conference and the non-conference were all 3A back in the 1970s before dropping to 2a then 1A and N.Surry, E.Surry, and Surry Central are back up to 2A.

I still think its ludicrous to have Shelby and Burns in a split 1a/2a conference.
