North Carolina High School Athletic Association, announced today that associate commissioner Rick Strunk would be retiring from his post at the NCHSAA at the end of December.

I still have my NCHSAA press pass received through Rick for Mount Airy's 2002 basketball championship at the Dean Smith Center . They beat Plymouth for the State championship.I wasn't there for their 2008 football championship .
