I don't but I'm just curious as to where you coach. Also NCHSAA is notoriously bad IMO
Raleigh NC for Parks and Rec. City of Raleigh contracts with NCHSAA and we have an official that laughed at a kid for getting hurt bad enough to draw blood. Then he stepped over him while he laid on court. The other teams kid had to point it out to the ref. Bad thing it was my kid and I may have gotten a technical and may have also gotten thrown outta the game.
This all led up to the other teams kid throwing elbows while driving and no calls. The same kid doing the flying elbow onto a pile of kids fighting for loose ball. Anyway, you're right. They're terrible! The other official even told me after the game he didn't know what kinda calls his partner was making
If the powers that be are corrupt or don't care, "going through the proper channels" might not bring resolution. That's when one must consider alternative modes of action. It's risky to piss people off in a public place.
That's some of the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. My brother was in a game one time and they were lined up at the foul line and his team was making a comeback and the refs looked at him and said "idk why you're still trying let this game end so we can get home" lol my dad was pissed when he heard that after the game. They're deff some of them that are awful. Keep us updated I wanna know what happens
I'll definitely post outcome. We are contacting league officials and community center where game was held. I would be willing to bet he knows Gary and knows I'm a Duke fan too
So I spoke with the Director of the Center where the game was played and numerous complaints poured in after the game which was added to the other complaints about this official already. The opposing coach and scorekeeper talked to the director and said the official was out of line and basically backed up my story. He is calling the booking agent and having this official removed and urged us to file the complaint. I'm not banned/suspended from any games. I was told to keep my Coach K temper in check.
