I believe ND just won with 26 seconds left. Cube sucks *** though, so I have no clue

So a missed field goal to end the half and 3 red zone turnovers (plus a turnover on downs at the 20) in the 2nd half and ND still win? I think this is actually a first! Go ND!!!!

Naz needs to wake up after this one or they are in trouble. Defense looked soft offense was terrible maybe because I have been spiked the past two seasons but that was the worst game I have seen them play in a long time. Seemed like Naz didn't play to win they were happy holding onto a 3 point lead for 2 quarters.

I'd like to thank Montini for taking the sting out of this loss.

Nazareth is so young, I need to remind myself of that. They were not up for the game at all, but that's youth for you.

Prayers out for Nazareth's QB, as that was a big hit.

Fenwick better than bronco and roadrunner ???? Hell has......Friar is big and physical. 10x better than the team they were last year.

Stevens walked off a bit groggy, under his own power not really limping. I'm assuming a bell ringer I hope he's okay too.

Here's what happened- Offense struggled like I've never seen before. Both teams look bad...
Let's give ND's defense a bit of credit here they played a pretty good game. Naz is a very talented team there's a bunch of kids I saw out there today with big time size and speed wearing blue. I believe what I've been reading here that Naz is young and recovering from some major losses from last years team. They are 3 wins away from being playoff eligible and when they get into the playoffs they will be a team to beat because they'll be firing on all cylinders by then.

No credit taken away they made plays when they had to. Just staring the facts- the amount of turnovers by both teams made them both look bad. Naz is young and maybe they recover as you say.

If it wasn't for a few 2nd half fumbles in the redzone, ND could have won 35-17. Naz offense just had no chance today.

Well said. The Dons lost a lot on offense, but they are coming along offensively and have been playing very well defensively. Naz projects as a 5A qualifier. They will roll through 5A, whether they have 1 or 4 losses. ND was battle tested coming in (after playing Thornton and Benet). This was Naz' first quality opponent. ND's first two games better prepared them for this Week 3 battle.

Naz may be fine in 5A playoffs, but ESCC is another story. First 2 wins were against terrible teams. They have talent, but so does everyone else in the ESCC. ND offense wow, needs work, too many turn overs, defense did a great job and did not back down. Also Nazareth penalties and actions showed frustration through out the game. Tonight ND had them at the wire. And really, would Naz teams of old, have games under 21 points total , not often.

I can see them losing to Benet-Marist-and maybe Viator. Should still get in as a 5-4 as long as Dunbar Leo and Marian get some wins. Then again this is a program that can have a blurp and run the table but this is not the teams of the last 2 season. But this is why HS football is great we have to let it play out and we all will have assumptions

They aren't going to lose every big game, but they're destined for another game like this.
