ND 25-7 Winners over Pats

Well, I did not expect ND's defense to be that good. Holy cow.

The vaunted St. Pat's offense ran into a brick wall tonight. Great win for the Dons!

Very well played game by ND, St Pats lost that game between the tackles. Defensively ND only bit on a draw play, solid run defense. Pats never got anything really going.

That offensive pass interference that brought back the TD seemed iffy. Equal contact on both sides.

Also, anybody have any details on why #66 (I think) on ND got into a push fight with the head official and then flipped out on his coach?

The official grabbed him and threw him off the pile. It was that play many late game cheap shots were thrown in a pile up.
And the pass interference call was big time push offs. Not really that iffy. Still wouldn't of mattered down by three scores

2 plays 2 injured ND players on pile ups, and late hits, tempers were hot at that point.

ESCCParent I'm going to have to disagreed with you in regards to the push off being a big time push off. Both players made contact with each other going for the ball a flag was not warranted and it changed the whole course of that game moving forward it would have been a two point game with Pat's most likely going for two to tie it.

NDParent you must not have been at the game. The Off PI both players were hand fighting there was no push off. And if that's not called it's 15-13 with Pat's going for 2. Also there were no cheap shots or late hits, very few penalty's for a Pats/ND game. You really shouldn't put that stuff out there with nothing to back it up.

Not surprised that someone who thinks 15-7 makes a team up by "three scores" doesn't know what a pass interference is.

The off PI was definitely questionable. I have never seen that called liked that on the high school level. There were not a lot of flags being thrown but when Pats was out of it they had some questionable contact on ND RB #27. One flag was called for a punch by St. Pats and saw a couple of punches thrown by them during the course of the game that were not called.
