I can’t think of three tougher road wins in consecutive weeks for the Dons. What a win. The Dons are absolute road warriors.
Time to come home and destroy the Shamrocks.
Amazing. Can’t wait to see this team. It was great to watch Gavin left right and up the middle the past few years, but this team is for real!!I can’t think of three tougher road wins on consecutive weeks for the Dons.
This group has had a lot of success at the lower levels. That doesn’t always mean success at the varsity level but this team has posted 3 respectable road wins. They still have Montini, Naz and St Rita on the schedule with St Pats next Friday and Leo too. They should be playoff eligible and will definitely be battle tested come playoffs. If they can keep improving and stay healthy they will be a tough opponent for anyone in 8A.Amazing. Can’t wait to see this team. I don’t know if this was made as a joke, and other than having a brother in law as alumni of both LA and ND, I don’t have strong feelings to either school. But are there Notre Dame football players that got denied from LA and admitted to ND?? Seems like an odd comment.Didn’t expect this either. Dons appear to be for real. If LA doesn’t relax their admissions standards, this Don Football thing could become a real fixture.

There aren't. Not sure what the poster was implying--LA is a great school, but it is not like they are rejecting kids who are then "stuck" going to ND. The admission standards at LA have nothing to do with Notre Dame's success in football.
28-7 final?

Naz appears to be the only game they might be in trouble. Pats is a rival, so you never know. Rita could give them fits for a while, but at worst, you’re looking 7-2, more likely 8-1, with 9-0 a possibility, depending on Naz. Definitely a challenge, but not insurmountable. This group has had a lot of success at the lower levels. Thanks for responding. Glad it was just an ACADEMY prestige joke, and not a ND dig. Any kid is blessed to attend either school. It was an off the cuff comment. A throw-away if you will. Nothing meant by it, just that there are a lot of ND family signs on the NW side these days in areas that Loyola also draws from. Wasn’t meant as an insult. Seriously just a joke.
And I was serious about ND being for real this year. Tonight proved that they are.

Montini, Naz and Rita still on the schedule for the Dons (in addition to Pats and Leo).
