JCA is just too young right now. I like the heart the kids are playing with, however.
Agree on the heart and no quit.
I liked that that their initial drive ate up most of the 1st Quarter.
Too much ground to cover in too few weeks left, too many fundamentals left to be learned by too many in too little time.
My hopes for the boys and predictions were off base.
Gooms, ND handled a young and wounded Hilltopper team.
2 projected offensive starters (Jr. RB and Jr. OT) that were injured during the preseason have yet to take the field - word is both may see their first action next week
Those two would not have helped stop the steamroller that was the ND O-Line cited above.
ND punted just once and in late in Q4.
I do not think the Senior Linebacker (who was blindsided with a crown to the chin last week to become the latest Hilltopper casualty at Hanson, and now out indefinitely), would have made the difference, though perhaps he could have led a few more stops as he had done in games 1-3.
There are a number of other pretty dinged up guys hobbling through on pride - hence JCHILLTOPPERS, comment on heart.
You certainly deserve to celebrate the victory, but I could not let your "healthy" comment pass.
With all sincerity, good luck the rest of the way.
Hopefully your boys get to experience a deep playoff run.

ND had a nice win, in hostile territory. Offense does struggle, but working off different formations. Defense looks strong and aggressive. Also not the majority of those kids had limited play time last year. 2016 class was a strong class.
