After the first 4 games on our schedule, it's likely we're gonna be fairly battered and worn down a bit when we play UT. Not good.

Maybe he is just playing on beginners luck, let's hope so. He can throw a deep pass. We couldn't beat them last year, what are we going to do now.

And just like that, PROGRAM MOMENTUM went over to UT.

They were already beating us on the recruiting trail last year with a crap record. Not good.

But honestly we needed them to win to keep an impossible dream alive for this season. Baylor can't be our biggest conference game this year....

I would love for Texas to be undefeated when they play us. If we can get our act together, we have to have a strong schedule to even have a chance at a playoff.

Because of one week? I'm glad our players and coaches aren't as soft as our fans.

Judging strictly by what was put on the field versus Houston, they ARE that soft. That was a miserable product from a staff that has years of experience. Even if the players sucked and it "wasn't the coaches fault" the buck stops there. Get it together and let's right this ship. We've seen this before with the entitlement attitude, you want it...get the hell out there and TAKE it.

Ha some of the Horn fans are actually calling their game one of the greatest in college football history. Is that pathetic or what? They continue to be legends in their own mind

Not sure I agree with this. The defense didn't quit, and actually played really well in the 2nd half. The offense ran, or attempted to run, the plays that were sent in from the sideline which included only four rushing attempts for our two ballyhooed backs. Sandlot was off target and appeared as if he was looking to scramble as soon as he received the snap, which appears to be an MO that isn't going to change. We didn't even challenge those guys with the running game in the 2nd half, and that's on the guys calling the plays. We became one dimensional of our own free will and volition; not because Houston took anything away from us.

Link? Are you over exaggerating or simply lying? Who are these SOME you speak of? It was a great game, and "one of the greatest" wouldn't make one a legend, it would just mean it was a great game. What are you actually saying? Rhetorical question.

Well I'm officially banned from Orangebloods, but I can still read it. I busted out laughing when I saw one guy saying it was one of the greatest games in college football history. I guess several years of mediocrity would make it seem much bigger than it actually was though.

So one guy said it (maybe), yet in your prior post you said "some of the Horn fans" said it, to make your story more juicy. Do you see the irony here? I guess losing to Texas at our worst, and now seeing us get better, has you feeling emotional...especially after watching OU lose to Houston. I expect OU to be 2-2 when they meet up with Texas. It's about to be a Texas takeover. We about to run the Big 12 under Charlie Strong. Your secondary, terrible. Your LB's, terrible. Your DL, terrible. Your OL, terrible. Your WR's, terrible. I guess that has you making your story much bigger than it is. I expect that Texas will eventually take Tyrese Robinson off your hands. Can't wait to beat OU, again. You're already in your feelings.

Amazing.......you guys have one big win and suddenly you think you are on the verge of a dynasty. Another example of Texas thinking they are just a little better than what they actually are. Come talk to me again towards the end of the season.......if you aren't too embarrassed.

Lol, I just think were better than OU and the rest of the Big 12. That's not far fetched, at all? With your over exaggerated stories, you have a credibility issue, anyway.

Texas played a very strong game except the DLine got punished by ND. If Texas can find a pass rush, they'll be a tough out. Big12 is wide open. TCU looked worse then expected. Texas better, OU worse. Baylor played a high school team so hard to know. If OU can beat OSU, all is well and this game won't matter unless Houston runs the table. If Houston goes undefeated and takes a playoff berth, the Big 12 is likely the loser in that scenario.

Silly huh, I'm laughing at you fella...that's lame. We beat a top 10 team, I'll take it. We have scoreboard on OU, I'll take it. We are better than OU, I'll take it.

So now because you beat ND you think Texas is the cream of the crop in the B12? Lets see how the season plays out before you start thinking one game pushes you to the top.

Speaking of defenses you may not have noticed but the Horns D isnt exactly a NC caliber defense and the Irish arent exactly an offensive juggernaught.

Look I get it that your all giddy like a little girl but OSU, OU, TCU , TT BU are all teams that will bust your arrogant *** this year.

Typical Horn fan , full of crap and thinks the world revolves around Austin.

Waster comes over here respectfull in his post. StrongSmart is a typical Message board prick. Scholz is that you? Texas looked better in their game, but that means little. You come over acting like Scholz and look like that kid juggling dildos at the cocks not glocks demonstration. How many of the 2500 dildos did you grab in the 23 minutes they were available only 3?
Crowing after one game that's rich.

"Giddy like a like a little girl."

Are you sexist? I guess so. I saw this board before Saturday, the lil girl in you got her candy taken away as you waved it in everyone's face, now you want to show some humility.

You guys are going to deep, I just think we're better than OU and the rest of the Big 12. You saw the games, why wouldn't I feel that way.

Could be JSTO or the perverted 2thDK maybe even jagged. I'm thinking now however this poster is the bomb. StrongSmart how creative. One thing about me I use my original handle. These boards are kind of stupid, but I signed up on OB originally to mess with the miserable angry Scholz. The shoe is on the other foot, but we didn't play Notre Dame. UT didn't play Houston please explain

i went to congratulate the bloods right after the game. I gave them their do. I called my best friend for 46 and congratulated him. Most all my friends are Longhorns or don't watch football. All over 60, grew up in Hyde Park and went to Mccallum and had fights at the Holiday houses. They are great guys they don't choose friends based on who or what they like. I see you as a person that doesn't know **** about Austin or people. Lame brain LMAO

I really wasn't trying to suggest that the defense quit, I was only suggesting that either they weren't prepared or we just aren't very good. The defense had a decent game except the secondary who seemingly got burned constantly...but that has been a problem on and off for a while.

I just can't believe how bad the offensive line was even if they are relatively new and how bad the secondary looked. If that QB didn't miss on quite a few of his passes the game would have been a bloodbath of USC Orange Bowl proportions.

I'm not ready to give up yet, but I sure don't feel good about things right now. I'm hoping that either Houston is just that good or we were in a funk.

ND will lose 4 games. Good win for Texas but it won't look great in November
