ND-Wisconsin

Wisconsin is hanging with the Irish so far in the 1st half. The Irish have a lite schedule this year so this early game against the Badgers may be one of the more challenging for them. (I’m old enough to remember when the ND game was one of the big non-conference games for the Cats. We used to play them every year.)

Wisconsin has an easy schedule too. They don’t play Indiana, OSU, Michigan or Oregon (or the Cats!) this year.

It was close at the half but the Irish have blown it wide open.

Just got back from Lambeau. Great atmosphere…felt like a bowl game. Stadium was 50/50 Blue & Red. Neither team was all that impressive. Notre Dame did not look like a top 10 team in the country. Wisconsin QB needs work.

I miss playing Wisconsin every year. It had developed into a great rivalry, like Illinois (and probably Iowa since the Barnett years), but now we are playing Maryland, Rutgers and the west coast schools instead. Oh well....I guess I'm just an old fogey.
