Based on what Dawson did to us last week and what Neal Brown is doing at Troy, I'd say neither were the problem with our offense. Starting to give credence to Stoops putting his hands on our offense to slow it down and burn clock.

I am with you on the Stoops putting his hands on offense because they were scoring too fast. Pregame show he made it sound HORRIBLE that we scored in "3 plays"... Well, I don't know what to say about that. Maybe a football guru can tell me why we need to have so much rest on our defense when we are supposed to have an SEC defense? Especially vs. Southern Miss.

Brown and Troy just got the Kentucky treatment. Clear fumble recovered by Troy but the ref blew the whistle *after* the recovery IMO and Clemson keeps the ball and scores on the next play...

Perhaps. Timeline would match. Stoops will be here at least through next yr. That would mean Brown would be a HC for 3 yrs.....if he's successful that's enough time for him to move on.

Me personally I would prefer first to shoot the moon on a mega hire.
