Looks like there are still hundreds (if not more?) of tickets available for Thursday night's game against Nebraska. And this after a "flash sale" for $10 tickets last week. Would love to see a packed house, as I believe a win would really start to get some momentum going and even more national attention!

Apparently the hoards of Nebraska fans that fill the football stadium are not too interested in BB.
villox and I picked up a pair in the 10th row of 213 for $16.70 each on StubHub yesterday. Good stuff.

I think he hung around the Rant Board too long. That place is a graveyard for WR posters... shakes, villox, even turk... does strange things to you.
They just need to learn to separate the sports boards from the Rant Board. The Rant Board should be like Vegas: what happens there stays there.
I won't speak for villox, but I stopped posting at the Rant Board, as well. It's so much more enjoyable to discuss sports and school with all of you without knowing whether or not you're lunatics.
Yeah, it's really only 3-4 people who ruin the entire thing, but they're not going anywhere, so I did.
There's been good stuff there lately, I think, following a brief disturbance at the start of the new year.

Besides you and Villox , who are the other two. Villox spewed forth more personal insults than any other poster, then would hide behind denial or "Prove it". I weathered his insults but did not hide in a corner after a political setback. Many on the board criticize conservatives but Villox attacked individuals ,simply because of different values. I would love him to comeback but in a more civil form-discuss policy, consequences of policy etc but avoid personal insults to try and discredit posters with a different point of view than his liberal leanings

Gents, I'm not really sure how this veered off in a "Rant Board" direction; that board is obviously not for everyone. I was merely referring to villox' extended absence here and on the football board. The one needn't necessarily have much to do with the other.
I imagine most people in the general public don't think they need to buy NU tickets in advance and pay the fees. I wouldn't be surprised by a large walk up crowd. I expect it will be a very good crowd, maybe not quite sold out, but mostly purple. We have a tendency to perform poorly in these situations (media buzz, home game, good crowd), but we've been breaking a lot of bad trends so far this season.
NU is reporting that Indiana and Purdue are sell-outs. Would be nice if the majority of those present are wearing Purple.
