Attended both duals at Nebraska this weekend. UNC dual started at 157. Ferrari was the only guy I saw from Nebraska to sign autographs for kids after the match. #GrowingtheSport.

He showered after the match and returned to watch the finish dress liked this.

The Ok St crew was gracious and well mannered, including Dee Lockett, who my daughter got to watch puke about 30 minutes before the start. #Memories. After the match he thanked for coming out every person that asked for an autograph. Same for Vega.

My son asked DT for a picture before the match. DT told him to come back after. He brought his sisters and was over the moon when DT said he remembered him.

All in, these guys, and wrestlers in general, being accessible to young fans is what growing the sport is all about.

Then there was Willie, standing behind the floor seats, obstructing views and not giving an F.

Sparks is right, dials are fun. Great weekend.

Great pictures. You're giving your kids the time of their life! 'Have wrestling, will travel', must be your motto amattaro!

PSU-Neb was their first dual last year and they loved it. My wife and I love seeing and going to less traveled places, so this kind of stuff is a no-brainer for us. The peace of driving across Kansas or Nebraska is good for my mind. My wife and I were worried about December drives to Wyoming and Nebraska but both were clear skies and 50 degrees. Great luck!

If you look at all these pictures, all the kids smiles are the same. Except for the very first picture with AJ. The one little girl looks like she is afraid, very afraid.

Good on all those dudes. Those kids will never forget it. My son still talks about Coleman Scott when he met him after he won states.

I knew someone was going to make a remark. I've always used "States". The only time I've heard "State" was in a movie about Texas football. BTW, he would probably have won every state since Pa is so dominate.
I grew up in IL we say state . We also wait in line I moved to NJ years ago and they wait on line never understood that one

I didn’t remember Vega being ranked super high coming out of high school, seems he’s better than advertised.
He wasn't at the start of the recruiting cycle but was by the time he flipped from Cornell to OKST. Definitely top 10 in class and PFP at the end of his SR year. (Same class as Duke, Blaze, Knox, Lockett, Robideau, etc.)

both Ryder and Facundo are struggling to find their offense.
They are legit and i have no doubt both will have a very good NCAA career

but makes you just trust Cael even more!

Pretty tame by Ferrari standards, almost embarrassing for that clan. I suspect uncle Carmine may have called him after the match and verbally took him to the woodshed, and told him to grow a bigger one. He is getting older, maybe he is suffering from low T.
Casey said something shocker 🤣 boys will be boys 🤷

Im down to 198 as we speak. Feeling good. Wether or not any of you have health issues drinking lemon water w/a pinch of Himalayan salt first thing in the morning does wonders for kidney health. That and no sugar and bread. Tog likes my avatar.

Ryder's ceiling is limited at 184 because all his offense comes from the underhook, which is a lot easier to counter when you consider he isn't super tall or long for a 184.

His defense is good but once again, not unstoppable up at 184. He should be making a cut to 174 to be honest and I said that when he was at PSU as well.

I am glad to hear you’re getting to your wrestling weight, whatever that is! Appreciate the health tip, as we get older we can use all the help we can get and if that helps me to become ‘a regular guy’, I’m all in. ‘Tog', is that the guy who used to post on '34 and Stalling’? If so, I can believe it. Keep looking up, brother.

Okay, but Sanderson also recruited both Facundo and Ryder to PSU in the first place. But the best guy at the weight gets the starting job.

Not that it is relevant, but man, Ryder is all torso. The one and only thing my wife said in 2hrs watching the dual meet yesterday was "why are that guy's (Ryder) legs so short and skinny?" For a near world-class athlete who walks around ~200lbs., Ryder's lack of quad and calf development looks really odd.

Tog- yes it is. It will help. CKD is no joke. Get some blood work. You dont notice until stage 3a. Doctors don't care until they can profit. The water combo helps along with some spices. Tibetan monk knowledge. Thanks for your concern. BTW, my wrestling weight was 103. 175 is my goal.
