If NU is going to take any more road Big Ten games besides Rutgers this year, the contests in Lincoln and Champaign-Urbana seem like the most likely candidates.

The Big Ten is still entirely wacky (see: Indiana over MSU) but the “lower tier” that NU needs to beat is starting to take shape. Penn State, Rutgers, Illinois, Nebraska. OSU, Indiana and Minnesota are in the middle. And yes, NU is also in this lower tier.

Illinois is starting to play to its talent. We will be underdogs on the road and that no longer looks like a likely win to me.

Nebraska is not the same team without Copeland but yes, Illinois has some better talent than a 7-15 record would indicate.
