Not watching, but I kind of want Purdue to keep winning so that their only loss(es) are to Northwestern. Is Nebraska going to ruin that, or is Purdue going to come back?

Yeah, this would suck for us. Hope they can come back.

Nebraska up 8 with 10 to go. Edey only has 8 points. Since it is on Peacock, which I canceled right after Iowa game, I can't watch, so I'll have to go to Hammer and Rails to find out how the refs are screwing the Boilers.

Nebraska has had 7 different players hit 3s. The level of difficulty of many of them was quite high. And Purdue has that deer in the headlights look they get when they are behind.

From Hammer and Rails:

”And now another bad breath foul on Purdue...this is the most home cooked game I've seen in a while.”
“Now phantom travel calls sorry with their shooting and eight against five. No love for Purdue tonight.”

LOL. They are never beaten, only screwed. Looking like a double digit loss.

I listened to the Huskers network. It's no Eanet/McKinney, but they're having lots of fun over there.

I guess we always knew Purdue would lose again. I guess...maybe...this means NU is in the thick of things in the conference, rather than Purdue's championship a fait accompli. Unfortunately it means Nebraska is too, and they happen to already have wins over Michigan State and Purdue too.

I watched the game. Did it feel like a tourney game for Purdue?

Actually it did not. Unlike against FDU they did not lose this one because they could not get anything on offense. The guards were not good but were not awful on offense. Edey had a mediocre game for his standards, but not mediocre for mortal standards.

This time they lost because of defense. Nebraska executed fast on offense. Those guards have trouble against some good motion. They break down a bit too easily.

Purdue got close like 1/3 into the 2nd half. But, other than that, it was not even that close.

You know Edey is a special player when 15 and 7 is a “bad game”.

Parity is the word of the year in the B10 so far. Court storms are starting to reflect cataclysmic weather events.

The refs only mattered in the post when Purdue had the ball.
Unlike our game, where no one was allowed to breathe on Edey, these refs let Nebraska foul the crap out of him.
If an alien watched the two games, there would be no way to determine what the rules are for calling a foul.

I looked at the box score and what stood out for me was he only took five shots at the line. Purdue is in trouble if he isn't getting to the line a lot more than that. The only game this season he had less FTs was against IL, and they almost lost that one.

And just like that, Nebraska (#41) leaps over NU (#51) and Ohio State (#46) to be the 5th best team in the Big Ten.
