Yikes! I didn’t realize what a rough season they were having until I was checking ESPN to see if we were favored. As much as we’ve struggled this season, the answer is still a resounding yes. Hoiberg’s seat has to be even hotter than CC’s. I know the game is on the road, but we we should roll.

Go Cats!

Thrilled to get a W and happy that we played well and executed a game plan... but that was one sad looking Nebraska team. Hoiberg's squad played some rather uninspired basketball, especially on the defensive end.

Of course, every team we beat or get close to stinks.

I can't tell if this was meant to be a criticism or agreement with my post. :)

Did you watch the game? Nebraska is hands down the worst team in the B1G, and it's not even close.

Of course, I'll give credit where credit is due. We went on the road and played a full 40 minutes (except for garbage time) for the first time in a LONG time!

NU defense cut the head off of the Huskers, holding their big gun McGowens to one point in the first half and the rest of the team died. McGowens had 29 against a pretty good Rutgers defense a week ago. I think he was averaging over 20 a game the last five, until today.

Yeah I had the same reaction - we played our best game of the season.

But my goodness was Nebraska's defense horrible. Bad hedging on high ball screens, completely lost a bunch of cutters, just weren't really guarding anyone. Pair that with our best offensive execution game of the year, and it results in 87 points in 36 minutes. Excellent work by the Cats.

This was predictable. Nebraska is one of the worst power conference jobs in the NCAA and Tim Miles was/is a good coach. Hoiberg had success at Iowa St., but he is in well over his head at Lincoln.
