I guess their consistent football failures year after year have them grasping for anything to troll their opponents.

Their conception of Northwestern’s football stadium actually looks a lot like all of Nebraska that isn’t Nebraska’s football stadium.

Remember walking by some Nebraska fans on a game day at the Lake Lot. I pointed to the new practice facility and said something like "not bad for Northwestern." They grumbled and I sorta got a "It's OK." At least that group was condescending.

I'm glad I'm not the condescending variety... since I'm a justified dual fan of NU and UNL.

It's been a bad year for three of my fall teams (both football, NU volleyball), a rough year for UNL volleyball, but at least we've got NU field hockey and Nebraska rifle (which gets jokes about always defeating the service academies!)

Strangely enough, this year's Nebraska team strongly reminds me of the 2013 Wildcats who, outside of Wisconsin, kept snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Nebraska fans were the most welcoming fans I have encountered- take a trip to Lincoln for a great game day experience

Because our fans have to put up with an outdated and unexciting facility 7 times a year or so and opposing fans just once every two years.
Oh, my God! The horror!!
I walk to my seat. I see the game very clearly. I commiserate with a few fans. I walk out. Then I complain bitterly, , “Where the hell was the butler?”
