Anton Gill will be a huge addition to the starting rotation next year. Him taking over for Webster will be big.
It's 38-25 Villanova at the half. After the Huskers took a 23-16 lead, they were outscored 22-2 to end the first half.
I fully expected to lose this game. New team against experienced team, home game etc. Even though we gave up a big run, I like this team! Aggressive, hard workers, good shooters....I think we'll have a pretty good season with more quality recruits on the way. GBR!
Webster must be the anti-Iverson. Dude shines in practice and wilts when it matters. Three straight years of hearing how good this kid is and he's god awful once the season starts....every time.
I think this team can be a middle of the pack in the Big Ten team, if they can knock off the periods of time where they shoot themselves in the foot. I mean,we basically went through a five minute stretch where getting the ball past half court was an adventure.
The first 10 minutes was atrocious. If you couldn't see that, perhaps a refresher course is in order.

Spot on with anti- Iverson. I don't think it's impacting the game, but @Hoosker Du is correct. Terrible officiating. That guard Diaca..... Gets every call and they call everyone of our screens a moving one. Must be a point of emphasis.
I feel pretty good about this team.. If they can cut back on the turnovers a bit they could certainly be a bubble team. That is if Nova is a legit #11 team.
The officiating is really bad. The amount of contact allowed on each end is nowhere near similar. We're getting touch fouls called and they can tackle our ball handler. I wonder what the foul differential is right now.
These turnovers are so effing dumb, I don't know what to think. Either this team is just AWFUL when it comes to ball control, or these are fixable mistakes. If the NCAA kept track of unforced errors, like in tennis, I think about 60 percent of our turnovers would count as unforced. We look like the keystone cops right now.
Have you seen Benny Parker? He's better than the alternative. That changes next year I think/hope. It may even change as Watson matures this year.
This officiating has ruined college basketball. These games are no fun to watch anymore
No i completely get its only been a few games, but anyone who follows basketball enough can watch a few games and get a feel or an IDEA how a player is, was curious how some of you feel about White so far compared to Pettway. Whites one of our first top 50 players we ever had or at least in a long time.
Yeah, getting that feeling from last year. Their coach is "go at em." Duh, every time you do and there is contact, you get a call.
We've had so many ticky-tack fouls called on us. But we get mugged going to the hoop...and nothing. It's been ridiculous.
They are completely different players. White is more of a team player. Great addition.
Yeah, that was interesting. I had to go away from the game to do some things. Came back. 22-0 run. Damn.
It's hard to compare the two IMO because they're so different. Petteway was so unstable and emotional that when he was on he was hard to stop but when he was down he would really hurt the team. White is calm and collected, the polar opposite. He will always help the team IMO to varying degrees. This is just from what I can tell after 2.75 games.
Does Webster have nudie pics of Tim? I can hardly keep watching this after 3 years. He's a turnover machine. Why keep playing him?
Im listening to the game now, Vill is hot and we are missing everything not getting rebounds. The announces are even raving about to pour officating, they have 16 trips to the line and we have 5, wow?
