that this was never about justice. The leftest nuts in congress and their *** lickers on this board will NEVER allow President Trump to be acquitted in the Senate:

WASHINGTON — The future of the House’s impeachment case against President Trump is in doubt on Thursday, after the third-ranking House Democrat raised the possibility that the chamber would permanently withhold the articles from the Senate.

LOL......Wonder what she would call Pencil Neck?

Nancy Pelosi on Thursday defended her decision to hold off on sending impeachment articles to the Senate, calling Mitch McConnell a "rogue leader" in an unusual press conference where she repeatedly tried to shut down questions about the impeachment process.

lol oh cry me a river. It's not a terrible idea. Why send the articles to the Senate for a sham "trial" where he can be "acquitted"? Senate Repubs have already made it clear that they have zero intention of taking their role seriously.

Just following the lead of the House in not taking their role seriously.

The House started the impeachment process, held hearings and impeached Trump. Why would you say the House was not serious? it's not fake news.

Cool, until they send it to the Senate, they did the equivalent of drafting a very stern resolution. Hahahahha and this too shall backfire on her.

Wow this is going to play out super on the campaign trail. A permanent indictment that the defendant never gets a speedy trial. Average Americans will relate well to that. Think that’s how Iran & North Korea run their system of justice.

Yeah, you've only started 2 threads on it today. got it.
Only pointing out the obvious.....I had already figured out that they might go this route. If they withhold the articles it will only bolster my points about this entire sham.

Schumer is ineffective as an orator. All McConnell has to say is that “We’ll evaluate the process and articles once the House delivers them. We have no idea why they’re withholding them”

Considering the urgency Pelosi proclaimed in the lead up, every day that passes works against her and their credibility, as if there was any to begin with.

Poor little Nancy! She be pissed because she not get her way in Senate. She allowed a totally unfair process in the House and now wants to direct the Senate on how to be fair. Unbelievable!!!
Maybe the Senate could create a Senate Rule, similar to what Shiff, Pelosi, et. al. did in the House that eliminated the Republicans from practicing. equal justice for Trump, wherein they state that, since they are obligated, by law, to begin the impeachment trial within a stated time frame they require that the documents from the House be in their hands within 96 hours after approval by the House or a verdict of ‘not guilty’ shall be automatically assigned to the case and these articles of impeachment shall never be again available for subsequent actions against this defendant.
Something needs to be done to bring the lying low lives in the House back to governing in a Constitutional fashion. Take note folks and vote this mob of Socialist/Communists out of office in Nov 2020.

Ok then I would ask why impeach him in the first place? Was it all for validation and to stroke egos?

Because the POTUS abused the power of his office and obstructed Congress during the impeachment inquiry. He shook down (bribed) a foreign president by withholding congressionally approved tax money in order to try to get the Ukraine to investigate his political rival. He did it for his own personal gain not in advancement of some broader U.S. policy.

Just when the democrats couldn't play this even dumber than they've played it already, they now try this stunt, which is only going to piss off Tulsi, Independents, and Republicans even more.

When is Tulsi announcing her switch to the GOP?

withholding congressionally approved tax money in order to try to get the Ukraine to investigate his political rival
Hypothetically, if Biden as the former VP did have shady dealing in Ukraine and it appeared as if Ukraine also played a part in "meddling with out elect" do you believe that should be investigated?

Who would do either investigation? Would you not need some basis for either investigation? Repubs seem to be mad that Hunter Biden got a job in the Ukraine due to his last name, is that a crime?

I never said that Hunter Biden committed a crime....in fact.....I posted it was a "perk" of his fathers position.......BUT......what Joe admitted to on tape are the same actions that you say are a crime.......holding up aid and telling a foreign gov official to fire a prosecutor.

If a president vetos any bills going forward, is that Obstruction of Congress?

Trump was doing this for his personal political gain and Joe did that to get rid of an ineffective prosecutor and did not do it for any political or personal gain. Apparently other countries wanted that prosecutor gone as well, the one Joe got rid of.

Why not? He or she is impeding their progress.
So you think that vetoing legislation is the same as ignoring subpoenas and requests for documents, etc. during an impeachment or other type of congressional inquiry? :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Then why did they not impeach him for that? Two articles of impeachment and bribery was NOT one of them.

Trump was doing this for his personal political gain

Your assumption, but no proof. He didn't say "do me a favor" he said "do us a favor"

An allegation is not proof. Next?

Joe did that to get rid of an ineffective prosecutor and did not do it for any political or personal gain.

Joe said to fire the prosecutor or they were not getting the money. That's exactly what the left accused Trump of doing, hypocrite.

It's sad but true. The left points fingers and accuses others of what the left is actually doing.

This whole impeachment is a joke and Pelosi is proving they don't have $h!t. It was all political and it's blowing up in the left's faces.
