I guess when you compare it to San Francisco, Huntington Beach, San Juan Cap, San Diego etc. But "affordable" and SLO do not belong in the same sentence for over 83% of people (I did a very scientific study). Now, if you like actual affordibility and temperate rain forests, Eureka is the place for you.

I agree. But it would be a lot easier to find a job in SLO than all of Humboldt county, imo.
