are they all the same? They begin right smack in the middle of some apocalyptic catastrophe. All the while not really explaining what exactly caused it. And ends abruptly and vaguely. I have watched “how it ends”, IO, and Bird Box and sweat they are just the same damn movie.

Well, Bird Box was a very successful book, so... I don't know anything about the other two.

They make many movies that aren't like that. The Christmas Chronicles and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs being two recent examples.

It’s probably just the ones I have ran across so far. But it’s oddly similar.

He also did the soundtrack for the Social Network awhile back, which I thought was pretty good. I think he may have done a few other movies since then, but I can't remember for sure.
