I like Ricciardo and wish him the best but I don't think McLaren's troubles have been with their drivers.

Renault, eh...

Wonder if Mercedes will actually pull the trigger and replace Bottas with George Russell after this year if he doesn't mount a serious charge to Hamilton

How about both Williams cars getting through Q1.

Russell is a damn talent. Think he's replacing Bottas next year.

Season three coming out March 19.

This series has turned my wife from someone who had no interest in motorsports into an F1 fan who wants to go to the US GP in 2022.

So, now I have to figure out how much to budget for that

Lol. Ep 1 is all Racing Point
I watched the whole thing. They're covered more than any other team.
There was little to no coverage of Williams and their ownership and control changed. I thought that would be it's own episode but it's barely mentioned.

Bahrain this weekend.

The scuttlebutt seems to be that Red Bull is ahead of Mercedes but I'll believe it when I see it.

Excited for Checo to get this opportunity.

Haas apparently won't even have their 2021 car finalized to Race 2. What a disaster. Poor Mick Schumacher

I am a Red Bull fan, but I can’t help but pull for George. Seems like a great kid. Next year will be very interesting. My hatred for Mercedes may be a little less intense.
Same. But I feel like Mercedes has effed Bottas over. Hopefully Russell gets a chance to be himself and not just be Hamilton’s *****

Episode 1 started with a David vs Goliath theme, posing Red Bull as the underdog against Mercedes. I guess we’re supposed to have the feeling that F1 started 4 years ago with the series. Before Merc started winning, Red Bull won 4 straight and Horner was an antagonistic *** during media events, with Mercedes being the team trying to put things together in the middle of the pack.

At least the final episode gave a good account of the weird decision that decided the driver’s championship. If anything, it seems even shadier now.

Finished the last episode after the pants shitting UK did.

I didn't follow a second of last season. That last episode was fantastic. Need to get into more sports like this. Easier to just enjoy the competition and not feel like you just had your heart ripped out of your chest.
