we're not a good team.
but anyone who puts this over the 9-16 season as "never seen it this bad" is just looking for style points on here

My bad. That’s for teaching there are fans that don’t think the season is terrible and are fine with not making the tourney. So yeah I guess it’s not that bad. I now see it’s OK to get blown out against ranked teams.I thought UK and their fans had higher expectations. My apologies.

No we need an AD who understands organizations and efficient operation..which isnt mitch, but not your pie in the sky fantasy..but sure bub, Ritchie farmer will get it done

you know you can say this year isn't good while admitting going 9-16 was worse. its called perspective. Try it sometime.
Rough night for Cat haters
The best thing about this game was the effort.
We didn’t play particularly well. And IU is not good. But we played hard and it’s a win.
Lowe made some errors but the team is better with him out there.
Mo D gives us toughness and rebounding we have been missing. We are a better team with him out there.
The effort like tonight will cure a lot of ills.
Are we a contender? No.
But let’s get JQ out there and re evaluate.

He may not get a chance to lose to St Peter’s or Oakland. No the greatest in year 2. Indiana is our premier win so far.

FR man, like everyone on here wants Pope to succeed. Everyone was behind him, everyone loves that team and him. We can’t however accept our recruiting issues and the way we are built and have played this year. Pretty easy stuff for me.
There are some on this board that aren't Cats fans my man. I know that most of tge board are happy. But there were also a lot that gave us no shot tonight that are feeling pretty silly
well tbh he’s never even going to get a chance to at the pace he’s going. He either misses the tournament or plays another power conference team in the 8/9 matchup.So did you forget that team didn’t get to play 6-7 d2 level teams because of covid to rack up wins like we did this year? They’d have gone 15-16 and this team is gonna be lucky to get to 15

Same as it was then. Season ain’t over. If this team fails to win another game it’s worse. If this team ends up winning 15 game it’s still not as bad as 1988-89 or 2020-21.
Wait a few weeks and try your gotcha moment again.

Pitino’s first team sure looks worse on paper at 14-14.
That team was far less talented than this team. They had their share of injuries too.
But they never quit. And UK fans loved them and still love them.
This is as bad as I’ve ever witnessed from UK basketball. That’s over 60 years.
I’ve never heard a UK team boo’ed by UK fans. We usually get boo’ed by opposing fans. Now they feel sorry for us.
I’ve now heard this team boo’ed 3 times. Twice in Rupp.
Should have been in MSG too.
