We also lost to something called Stephen F. Austin.

Rankings provide fodder and don't mean a whole lot right now. Once February hits that's when you start paying more attention. Let's just hope we continue seeing improvement.

With #1 Louisville and #4 Md. going down the cheating heels should break into the top 10 after a blow out win against power house Wofford when the new poll comes out Monday. OFC

800 times. They have been screwed 800 times by the officials. Just think how many wins , nattys, ACC regular season, ACC tournaments and big 4 tournaments because of the poor officiating. The numbers would be mind blowing. To be totally honest if it weren't for the dishonest officials I doubt Coach K wouldo have lasted long at Duke because he never would have beaten the heels. How's that for some random things to think about? OFC

Well it is their own fault that they don’t have an OFC group willing to fund a refs slush fund.Bunch of cheap jokers

The current rankings have nothing to do with us beating Kansas in the first game of the season. They haven’t lost since we beat them and we’ve lost to Stephen F Austin since then. The rankings are based on how teams do on a week to week basis.

Minn. beat Ohio St. 84 - 71 tonight. Tomorrow's poll should be interesting to say the least. How far will we move up? Will cheater u fall out of the top 25 considering they are having Armageddon down in cheater hill?

I’d personally put us at 3 behind Kansas and Gonzaga, I’d be a little surprised if a team that lost this week stayed ahead of us.

I think we’ll be #3 when the poll comes out tomorrow because the only teams ranked above us that didn’t lose this week are Kansas and Gonzaga

Duke will likely be number 3 when the polls come out, which is more than fine. The rankings are meaningless and in fact can do more harm than good. We were on top a couple weeks ago. We got a big dose of reality that week too. Win conference games, stay the course, keep grinding and the ranking will take care of itself.

I agree, Rankings are meaningless at this point.

We moved up to #4. I thought we would’ve moved to up to #3 but they only dropped Louisville down to #3. I’m a little surprised that they only dropped Louisville 2 spots but there’s really no difference between being ranked #3 and being ranked #4. Even after losing 3 straight games UNC still received 41 top 25 votes.

Something I keep coming back to, OSU beat Louisville by 20 in a scrimmage right before the season.

I personally don't think Louisville is very good, we get them in Cameron a Saturday in January which should be the big GameDay game. Some rumblings from Louisville fans that Jordan Nwora is playing for his draft stock instead of playing for the team.

Combine our soft ACC schedule with UNC being terrible this year, UVA having possibly the worst offense I've ever seen. We BETTER win the ACC outright this year.

Yeah I think things would have to fall apart majorly for them to beat Gonzaga. I was looking at their schedule and after they ply Gonzaga they play UCLA and Yale which in most seasons would probably be pretty easy wins for them but with the way that they’re playing right now and with Cole Anthony being out indefinitely and Leaky Black also being out right now those 2 games probably aren’t going to be easy wins like they probably would’ve been in the past.
