Rutgers' Steve Pikiell will hire USMMA (D3) head coach Steve Hayn as special assistant to the head coach, sources told @CBSSports.

Stony Brook alum that has been a head coach for the past 16 years. Not the most impressive record but clearly he's been around forever and seems like a nice hire as a special assistant. Also, looking at the roster it seems like he's got kids from prep schools around the country so maybe he'll bring some relationships with him.

Looks like Hayn and Pikiell were asst coaches at Central Connecticut at the same time
