I thought for sure Poindexter and Howle would remain but there are only so many spots given the coaches coming over from ISU.
Why not keep Lustig? We had some very good ST play this year.
GM on board . Never heard of him , but saw that some pretty good programs wanted him .
Derek Hoodjer is an intriguing addition. He is Campbell's GM at ISU. Hopefully this means a gradual transition to an NFL style GM.

Campbell's staff looks well-organized and ready with a plan. They don't appear to be the kind of guys to let grass grow under their feet. If they can bring on some solid players and fill out the coaching staff...look out.
I actually think he would be perfectly happy coaching any defensive position and collecting his $3 million.

I think he (Connor) did ok. Campbell was my MVP of the defense. Rojas was playing really well before the injure. Tasch looks pretty good. And I think he got as much out of Dom as was possible.
Later. McWhorter was BOB's OL coach for at least his first year and he was excellent.
Like Sluggo says looks the part. With sleeves and his gear , looks like he can relate .

If you trust the PFF metrics provided by this site, you will see that Rojas received a PFF grade in the low 50s against Oregon. Anything below 60 is considered failing.
So, when you say Rojas was playing well do you mean in the 3 non conference games?
My jury is still in recess. He looks like he could be more brawn than brains. The excess amount of tattoos aren't a comforting sign of intelligence.
I don't have any tattoos but learned this week that excess ink injected into your derma ends up in your lymph nodes.

I agree. It's not like Connor had much to work with .....especially when it came to Franklin dictating that Deluca had to play.

Well the "Deluca had to play" kind of happened after Rojas was hurt but ok.
PSU had a bunch of younger (and probably quicker) LB's who never/rarely saw the field except for ST

We might end up missing Trautwein. He was an OL technician..... teaching the small things. Once Franklin left, the OL really started to shine.
If Franklin doesn't hire him, I'd keep him / hire him back and split the OL coaching responsibilities much like Joe did.

I honestly hate when people use that argument to try to prove a point. Franklin/Penn State had 10x the resources Iowa State has. Iowa State arguably one of the worst P4 schools in the country if not the worst to coach at.
Noah Pauley - ISU WR coach is definitely in. He won wr coy in 2024, and he is a huge upgrade over Hagans.
Does the OL coach dictate the blocking schemes or is that the OC or Head Coach?
He should I always thought that was an issue when JoeMo was OC at PSU. It was clear to me someone other than the OL coach was drawing up the blocking schemes. It looked like something a QB would come up with. So was that CJF or JoeMo? Idk
