Still have checkerboard on the neck but at least it’s not noticeable
Didn’t even notice it. I think these are sweet. I really don’t like the KSU cat but nothing I can do about it. I bet the white ones are dope.

Just looked again, I like it. Subtle. Not overwhelming. Don’t mind it all.

I always liked the blue on blue checkerboard. Wish we leaned more into it. Should've kept it in endzones. Should've used it more in jerseys for football and basketball. It was the ugly blue and white gingham pattern that was the problem.

The numbers are too big on the front or too close to KENTUCKY.
Needs a stripe on the side.
I approve of use of silver on pants and around the number

I like the clean look and getting rid of the checkerboards. Hate we’re using the logo we’re using, but oh well. I’d grade them at a B- at the moment. I’m interested to see how they look in a game.

Not going to complain about these. Love the stripes on the pants and shoulder numbers. B+.

I didn't see a problem with the checkboard on the jersey's. We've had success wearing the checkboard. It added detail to the jerseys. Contrary to popular belief alittle down south from us, UK was the first to have the checkerboards. Stoll Field had a checkerboard endzone, starting in 1930.

I do hope we get rid of the two birds ******* logo in the future. I hate it with a passion.

Edit: With that being said, I do like these new jerseys and hopefully we've got more coming throughout the season. Imagine breaking out a new unis for the Tennessee, Georgia, or Alabama game.

I have a question...what is the serious obsession about a Helmet with just a "K" on it? It's an old font. It was used during a time that UK Football was irrelevant and was the SEC doormat. It's just boring and old. Maybe use it one game but not an option for permanent use. Maybe have a game against UL where both teams wore throwback unis. I want it to be a game where UK should win and not get pounded lol.

The new UK interlocking logo and the new wildcat logos aren't going anywhere anytime soon, so I don't understand the constant bellyaching to change something that won't change. To me it's just a waste of time and stress. There are more important things to stress about than a logo on a helmet or checkerboards.

The kids that sweat, bleed and work their asses off in the summer to compete for us in the fall, have every right to wear what they like.

Some things should just be left in the past...it is called The Past for a reason. Especially if it's a losing or embarrassing past....

I think most fans are upset that the money UK is taking in isn't going towards compelling or at least moderately interesting logos. The modern UK is generic ******** and the minimalist wildcat looks like what it's intended to look like MAYBE 33% of the time. The rest of the time is split evenly (for me) mistaking it for a staple remover or two crows in missionary.

If UK is throwing any decent amount into marketing and this is the best we get, then obviously there will be large scale discontent. I want to watch the Kentucky Wildcats and know they're from the best damn state in the union. I don't want to mistake us for the Nike Generics.

I agree the Power K isn't the way forward, but what we have now, frankly, is unacceptable.

In my opinion, anyways. My 2¢.

Not for sure if there's anywhere that they could go. Most fonts just don't work with sports. The ceiling isn't very high.

I think every version of the "Wildcat" mascot we have ever had has been ugly...the Penis Tounge Cat was the absolute worse. The current one isn't great, but the old one was pornographic in nature.

At the very least, in my opinion, an outline of the state somewhere on jerseys would be a marked improvement. The 70s wildcat modernized would be interesting to see.

Billions go into marketing and fonts every year. Surely something works for sports. I don't care for baseball as a sport, but the cursive fonts on some unis are slick. Really gives a great vibe, to quote the kids nowadays. Football fonts generally need to be angular, squared, and/or bold. If we could modernize the letterman font to make the Power K thicker but also with an internal line (blue out, white in, or vice versa), maybe thinner serifs (checkerboards?😳), then maybe something would work. I dunno. People get paid to think about this stuff.

In an era where everything is mass-marketed ******** and people don't talk to one another, it'd be nice if we had a logo or two that LOOKED like it had some personality and actually represented the fans who cheer on the folks on the field or court.

Also, I think the old UK and wildcat logo was pretty solid once the penis tongue was removed. I totally understand disliking a logo, though. To each their own! 👍

To many the Power K just has a more football look and fits the tough physical play Stoops loves. The current Houston look just doesn't accomplish a tough hard nose look like the Power K. Looks sissy to manu.

ESPN talking about new jerseys in the conference and when they got to us they liked everything about the new look except for the ridiculous wildcat on the sleeve. I would love to know the one human being that developed that and the one human being that approved it. University like this with the worst looking mascot you could possibly come up with. Go back to mine and forget the wierd freaks that want to gripe about it.
