Just checked on my phone, it's an improvement. Old site was unreadable on a phone, had to zoom way in to get the text to a readable size and then scroll back and forth every line.

This. Idk how some peeps preferred the old version compared to the new (at least on mobile )


Same with this site. It's miles better than it used to be (and I was one of the ones who didn't like it at first ) after about a week I loved it

I guess if you were reading on a tablet you might prefer the desktop site to the new one, if you were used to it.

The main page on the mobile site is not great (some scrolling left-to-right I'm not a fan of with the top stories and tabs).

But the stories on the mobile site (especially when you click on them from Tweet links) are 1000% percent better. No zooming in or out. Very clean.

Most sites are going responsive now, so that the site looks the same on a computer, tablet and phone (just adjusts some things slightly). Old "mobile sites" should be a thing of the past soon.
