6-2 PG, also offered by UMass and Vermont. Getting pretty deep into the “B” list, it appears.

Disagree. We’re on the front end of this one. Kid had an explosive performance last week. I’d expect more offers to follow.

Agree. NU (basketball and football) tends to get guys when they’re in early. It just is what it is for now. Perhaps that will change in the next 10 years.

Kind of a low release on his jumper......

Early tapes are not impressive at all and I was like, damn we've gone to the C list or below. Then all of sudden he starts showing really good athleticism and looks like a Collins recruit. BTW, all of the Collins guards have similar tapes. Biggest differentiation is height and some are a bit quicker. I agree on the release point.

I don’t feel like the release point is as important as how quick a release is. Shurna had a very low release point, but it was lightning quick.

Shurna was also 6'10". He had a much more difficult time with his shot in the NBA summer league.

You can’t compare the NBA to success at the D1 level, and you know this. Even at 6’10, and low release is a low release. Steve Lepore has a high release and gorgeous form. He also had trouble getting his shot off because it was slow as molasses.
