Why is 2-loss lsu ranked?
SEC Bias. Their two losses are to two currently ranked teams. Idk how Ole Piss is ranked so high, either. Their loss is to Florida and they got smacked around by them, and now Florida is not even ranked.

Another thing I noticed after watching Purdue last night, all of their 3 losses are to currently ranked teams. Purdue might be a tough game.

Iowa leapfrogged Ok St and USC.

NW is now ranked.
UCLA just outside the top 10.
Oregon is unranked....

And of course the SEC is well represented
Yah, and the Alabama fans represented the SEC in typically classy fashion yesterday by pelting Georgia players with all manner of projectiles after the Bulldogs rolled the Crimson Tide despite Saban's pregame dissing of Georgia. LOL

Georgia and Alabama ducked each other for years because the league wanted to have both undefeated whenever possible. Ah, the good old days . . . But the classless SEC hasn't gone anywhere. Poor Crimson Trickle and sad Nick Saban.

Remember the year the bored us to death with not one game but two games? The first game was similar to a Penn St vs Iowa game, no offense. The next game Georgia got beat by 3 TD's.

And they have the audacity to say the SEC is more entertaining.

UCLA is laughably way too high. Oregon gifted them the ball 5-6 times and they could barely score. They deserve to be ranked, but no higher than 18th.

The Boilers look to have turned the corner. Spanking Minnesota like that is no small feat. They have a bowling-ball-like RB. The game against Washington next weekend will be very interesting. I'm actually hoping that the Huskies can restore the order a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the new fighting fitz's sneak one from them this weekend. And they have to play at Oregon the week before Iowa.
Idk, MSU looks poor right now. Looking at where Northwestern and Oregon are now, I think Northwestern could pull off a win against Oregon. That Wing T offense is not easy to prepare for. No scout team will be that fluid running it as Northwestern is.

The polls are certainly fallible, but according to them the difficulty of Iowa's six games would be:

1- Northwestern
2- Wisconsin or Nebraska
4- Minnesota, Purdue or Illinois (no votes)

Yeah, their RB is built like a brick &@!@ house - reminds of D'Andre Swift (Bears). I only saw a little bit of the game, but their QB appeared pretty impressive...😬

Purdue has a quality QB and RB. That won’t be a gimme. No gimme’s left on the schedule.

Illinois qb broke his hand and expected to be out for “a significant amount of time.” Things aren’t looking too good for big Bert in champagne this year. They were lucky to sneak out an OT win vs a bad sparty team. Which side note I’m wondering if Levar woods isn’t regretting his decision to leave IC.
