Would seem like a good depth piece. It’s so crazy following a team building off-season where we realistically need 10 more scholarship players.

Pope has to get a few pieces to the puzzle somewhat soon to then be able to target specific roles.

I’m sort of surprised he isn’t pushing for 3-4 byu guys to comer here, maybe he is, but the only one that people feel good about coming here is Robinson

And will most likely a lot more coming into the portal in the next few days. It's all about who can pay the most.
Yup. Once you hired Pope you had to almost guarantee the only way to build this team was through the portal .

Due to the restrictions at BYU no way him or anyone coming with him had close relationships with a lot of the 5 and 4 star recruits.

I'm more focused on when we learn who makes up his staff. That's the #1 most important thing to me. I get he loves Kentucky. He would crawl to be here, he'd name his next daughter after the state, etc.....but who is going to help get the program going? This needs to be out there ASAP.

Personally, I wouldn't consider BYU if I was a zero star despite a little bit of tradition or loving the pitch.

Fueger from BYU is a smart and good move. Right hand man for Pope and kind of what Robic was to Cal when he got here. Sean Woods?? Really? Oh well. 2 unknown guys better be top notch recruiters and have some deep connections then.

Man I'm hopeful Pope can assemble a solid coaching staff and get some better portal players than these dudes with average stat pages. Right out of the gates some of these portal dudes that are eyeing Kentucky feel a whole lot like Tubby and BCG-type players.

Still giving him some time, but day 1 and it feels like a slow start (yes, I know, be patient, but after yesterday fans are going to want to see some pop with the roster within the first week for sure).

If we are recruiting guys that SMU, Grand Canyon and Miss St are going after I’m not going to get real excited
Can see it now in the game threads.... This guy sux, that guys sux, we suck.

Inufferable. Finally putting you on Ignore for good. All I have to do is go to the KSR page to see the same threads you start, so I won't miss anything other than self serving posts.

Would fit popes system

I would definitely take him. His jumper was a little streaky this year, but he still ended up with a solid percentage overall. Has good size, and seemed to get more comfortable putting the ball on the floor as the season went on. His defense needs a little work, but he’ll only be a true sophomore. Seems like he could possibly be a good fit.

Looks like a good prospect.
