National Championship here we come!!!!

in the vid from earlier in this thread he looks 10 times better than the two qbs who will play for us this year. great both with arm and legs. hope we hang on to him...

[SB_SB]

I hate to even watch these videos because the guys look so good but then when they shows up at Iowa he can't make one pass.

[WestCoastHawkI]

Nice size. I like it.

[Sabula]

Congratulations to the young man. Pretty special to be a member of the Iowa football team and get to play in Kinnick.

Wow - nice arm, quickness, & great pocket awareness….looks like vs good competition as well. K-State seems to have an eye for very good QBs, so that was nice to see they offered as well.

[J.Hawkeye]

And I hear Dolph fumbling his last name

Dolph could screw up "Smith"

[twindman]

I am impressed! Seems to be able to hit guys from 30 -50 yards while off balance and or running. And is this legal?? I mean a QB for Iowa that can pass AND run?? LOL

Lotta truth there to say the least!

Great! Welcome!

I’m sure Slaw will find a reason to b*tch about him, though.

[QChawks]

I hope he can hand off the ball well

So, just to play devil's advocate, given the fact that you've seen so little of any of these 3 QB's, you're confident in your thinking he's 10 times better?

Or they transfer out after seeing few if any snaps. It's to the point where I don't even bother watching them anymore.

Slaw would ***** about the beds in a whorehouse.

Also if we looked at brown and Hecklinski’s HS film sure they’d look darn impressive too. Reason why Auburn offered brown. Quality of who they are facing in film matters. But tell me about a D1 players highlight tape that doesn’t look good?

[eyesofhawk]

Welcome, Brayden!

Well that is far and away the most important piece of furniture at those establishments.

I don't think it's to soon to say......He Gone.

He said no to Bill

Can you imagine being a freshman coming out of the tunnel with the team? You would probably be near the back of the Swarm, the captains and soon-to-be NFL guys will be up front. But someday that will be you up front leading the team.

[EvilMonkeyInTheCloset]

How do we pronounce his last name?

Saint Banez?

[WestCoastHawkI]

Definitely not my wife

[UIAlumFireFighter]

No trust in QB recruitment or development.

With our history - Not sure how any of you can get excited until he puts on the jersey and succeeds on a college football field.

[Buffalo43]

Questions: can he block? And can he punt?

[rchawk]

He's only been on campus for a year, but don't sleep on Sullivan as a future starter.

[Herky T Hawk]

Tape looks good, but I wonder about the competition level. When I see a 6’3” quarterback 30 yards past the line of scrimmage and running away from defensive backs on a TD run, I wonder about the quality of opponents. Some of the highlights looked like he was playing against freshman squads.

Having said that, he had some nice throws downfield hitting WRs in stride. Hope springs eternal.

[2D]

I've become disenchanted with any possible QB prospect. I'll have to see real change before I can get excited for anyone.

Someday lightning’s gonna strike at Iowa qb. Remember Chuck Long? Who knows, this could be the kid.

[Sabula]

Hecklinski, Brown, Sullivan, Fitzgerald, Bessinger, Santibanez. I like that qb room. Especially the younger guys. But given only 1 can start, and he stays healthy, and KF's affinity for playing t he starter until he drops. you'll probably see portal moves from some. Just the twisted times we now live in.
